It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Wallace Arthur on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Stedman Hospice in Brantford, Ontario leaving family and friends to mourn his passing. Thomas was predeceased by his adopted father Robert Arthur. He is survived by his wife Ellen (nee Hanson) of seventy years and his children Paul (Jacqueline), Robert (Sherry), Elizabeth Huffman (Bill), and Catherine Wright. Cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Brother of Isabel, Doreen, Bill and Jack.

Tom was a long time and devoted member of Scotland United Church, Scotland Masonic Lodge, Unity Shrine in London, South Brant Lions and a director and past president of Brant Mutual. Tom and his wife dedicated their life to farming tobacco and ginseng and raising their family on Jenkins Road for seventy years in Scotland, Ontario.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday September 4, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. Please be advised that masks or face coverings are mandatory and social distancing protocols will be in place. A private family service will be held. Interment Bookton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Stedman Hospice, or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
