Al worked in the trades industry handling lawnmowers, motorcycles, repairs, sharpening, sales and service. Al and his family had their own business on Henry Street in Brantford. In 1974, they moved to Burford, Ontario where Al was a manager at the Burford Arena when it was built in 1984. Al and Vi both worked at Galtaco until it closed. He retired in 2002. He travelled to Daytona Beach and all over Northern Ontario and the USA. He rode his Harley with Vi on the back, and now riding in a wonderful place with his three sons.
